Club History

Buffalo Field Archery Club (BFAC) was founded in 1948. Since inception BFAC has carried on a mission of promoting the enjoyment of archery and a tradition of outdoor sportsmanship. Club membership includes families and individuals of all ages, shooting styles and skill levels. BFAC is a non-profit volunteer community service organization. Operating expenses are funded by membership fees and proceeds from BFAC sponsored shoots.

Application

Membership fees are $130.00 for both individual and family Memberships.
Membership expires December 31, 2012.

Print out a 2012 Membership Application and Safety Test.
Read carefully and answer all questions.
Sign and date where indicated.
Mail both along with your membership fee to the address provided on the application, or you can pay your membership fee through our PayPal account.
Come join us at BFAC for fun, fellowship and camaraderie with fellow archers.

Safety Test

Applicants shall submit a Safety Test along with their Membership Application. A copy of the Safety Test will be included with the application.
IMPORTANT: All those shooting at BFAC shall:
1. submit a passing Safety Test or
2. must be accompanied by one who has submitted a passing Safety Test.

Membership Benefits

For just a few dollars per month members enjoy access to one of the nicest outdoor archery ranges in Texas. The range is for members from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week. Camping is prohibited.
Facilities include:

Practice Range: Half of the range is set with targets from 10 yards to 80 yards, half of the range is set with targets from 15 yards to 65 yards and one target set at 90 meters.
Field Range: Walk through a 28 target field range course in a wooded/shaded setting. The club hosts field shoots and is a member of the Texas Field Archery Association.
3D Range: The club has 3-D targets and hosts 3D shoots. The course consists of 3D animal targets set in a wooded/hunting type setting.

Members are provided a new gate code to the facility each quarter. Access is from sunrise till sundown, seven days a week. Camping is prohibited. Specific Field and 3-D ranges are off limits during tournaments.
