Cullen Park Range Rules & Regulations

  1. Crossbows, broadheads, guns, firearms, pets and alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the range.


  2. Any device that locks a bow at full or partial draw is not allowed at the range.


  3. Children under the age of twelve require adult supervision.


  4. No sky pulling. Sky pulling is holding the bow high and pulling back on the arrow while lowering the bow to a shooting position. If the arrow was accidentally released during a sky pull the arrow could land on another range endangering other people.


  5. Hunting is NOT allowed at the range.


  6. Members and guests must sign a release, waiver and indemnity agreement.


  7. Members are not to hand out gate codes. Doing so can lead to expulsion without refund.


  8. No backtracking on the field range. On the field range, take your bow and gear with you when you advance to pull your arrows. Exit only through the narrow side lane to get to the main trail. Do not walk back up the shooting lane to your original shooting position and do not walk in the narrow exit lane towards the target. The purpose of the no backtracking rule is keep someone from unknowingly walking into the shooting lane of another archer.


  9. Members are to wait for all shooters before advancing from the firing line.


  10. If searching for a lost arrow, place your bow in front of the target. Do not commence firing if you observe a bow in front of the target.
